Well here goes

I am a huge fan of old films, seeing that I am studying screen studies we are looking at the the history of films from the origins to the present day.

Here are some of the thoughts that i have on some of the films that we have been in our lecture.

Premiere Program: This is the, first flickers of film that had ever been shown, to audiences, in Paris 1895, I find it fascinating and clever, the shots are long shot and the camera is stationary it seems sad is is simply workers walking out of a factory but i just think that would of been amazing to see that for the first time her is a website about the Lumiere brother's fascinating stuff http://holonet.khm.de/visual_alchemy/lumiere.html
